We’re looking for a Senior Process Technologist to join a site in Lincolnshire, where you will help deliver quality food to some of the major retailers. You’ll play a key role in making sure new products go from idea to launch smoothly, safely, and successfully.. You’ll lead a team, manage projects, and keep everything on track from trial stages to the final product hitting the shelves.
Key responsibilities:
- Leading and developing your team with clear goals, support
- Scoping out projects, setting KPIs, and driving innovation that supports business goals
- Working closely with internal departments
- Running factory trials, solving problems, and making sure launches stay on track and on budget
- Managing customer panels and approvals
- Management and maintenance of the critical path
- Keeping costs low with awareness of the trial budget and objectives
- Improve products and make manufacturing as reliable as possible
- Staying audit-ready and sticking to customer standards and codes of practice
What we're looking for:
- Strong background in food manufacturing, especially around customer trials and critical path planning
- Experience in Process, Technical, Development
- Food Safety Level 3 and HACCP Level 2 qualified
- Great communication and relationship-building skills
- Problem solving skills
- Project management experience
- Leadership experience with proven record of success
- Comfortable with IT systems
