Your Role
As Night Shift Lead Engineer, you will:
- Lead and mentor a team of engineers, ensuring smooth operations across the shift.
- Take ownership of reactive and planned maintenance, minimising downtime, and drive a continuous improvement culture.
- This role would be supporting on the tools as well as some back office tasks and a handover.
What You Need
- Proven experience in food manufacturing, FMCG, or a highly automated environment.
- Strong leadership skills – experience managing or mentoring engineers.
- Electrical & mechanical expertise (multi-skilled preferred).
- Experience with PLCs, conveyors, robotics, and automation (desirable).
- Engineering qualifications (HNC/HND, apprenticeship, NVQ, or equivalent).
