A food manufacturer that has experienced high growth in recent years is growing their Specifications team! They are on the look out for a keen Specification Technologist who can add real value to an already successful team. The role has a hybrid working arrangement of 2 days in the office.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and manage specification and artwork creation on retailer and non-retail platforms
- Ensure artwork meets legal and customer standards.
- Monitor project timelines, escalating any delays
- Transfer customer specifications accurately to internal systems
- Review raw material specifications from suppliers for completeness and accuracy
- Collaborate with internal teams and customers to validate information
- Cross-check nutritional data with industry guidelines, escalating any discrepancies
What you will need:
- Technical experience in food manufacturing
- Degree or equivalent in Food Science/Technology.
- In-depth knowledge of recipe creation, food nutrition, and labelling
- Experience with online retailer specification systems and computer software
- Ability to manage deadlines
- Excellent organisational and project management skills
