Looking for a role where you can genuinely make an impact?
I'm working with a well-established food manufacturer that's looking for a Production Shift Manager to lead one of their key production teams. This is a hands-on leadership role where you'll be responsible for driving performance, developing your team and ensuring production runs safely, efficiently and to the highest quality standards.
This isn't a role where you'll spend your day sat behind a desk. You'll be visible on the shop floor, leading from the front, solving problems and keeping the operation moving.
The Role

Lead and motivate a production team to achieve daily KPIs.

Manage labour, attendance and shift resource to meet production plans.

Work closely with QA, Engineering, Planning and HR to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.

Drive productivity, quality and continuous improvement across your area.

Coach, mentor and develop your team through regular performance reviews and training.

Ensure high standards of food safety, GMP and Health & Safety are maintained.

Take ownership of shift performance and make decisions that deliver results.
What I'm Looking For

Previous leadership experience within food manufacturing.

Strong people management and communication skills.

A hands-on manager who enjoys being on the shop floor.

Good IT skills, including Excel.

Someone who can build high-performing teams and create a positive culture.
