The Role
Are you a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer ready to take the next step?
This is a great opportunity to move into a Lead Engineer position where you’ll remain hands-on technically, while taking more responsibility for the day-to-day running of the engineering shift.
You’ll coordinate maintenance activity, support a team of engineers and work closely with production to keep the site running safely and efficiently.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Lead and support a team of multi-skilled maintenance engineers
- Carry out reactive, planned and preventative maintenance
- Prioritise engineering tasks to reduce downtime and improve OEE
- Coordinate engineering activity with production
- Help drive high standards across maintenance, safety and compliance
- Support engineers on shift and help develop the wider team
What We’re Looking For
- Multi-skilled Maintenance Engineer with a strong electrical bias
- Recognised engineering qualification – Apprenticeship, C&G, ONC, 17th/18th Edition or equivalent
- Experience within manufacturing, FMCG or food production
- Confident communicator who can take ownership and lead from the front
- Someone ready to move into a Lead Engineer / Engineering Team Leader position
- Hands-on, practical approach with a focus on reliability and keeping production moving
