Ideally it would be handy if you’ve had experience in a leadership position before along with the knowledge of working in a fast-paced FMCG environment. It also wouldn’t hurt if you’re competent at PLC fault-finding and diagnostics.
What else do you need? Just a recognised engineering qualification and the ability to consistently drive continuous improvement initiatives, keep track of the contractors coming in to site and be able to work well with the rest of the site leaders.
But, the main thing is that you have the passion and drive to be the main support function for your team.
