You be working as an engineering manager for a company with some exciting plans for growth and plans to break into new technology. They are an automotive company who are well established in what they do but are looking into some Hybrid and EV projects which you will play a key part within. In this role you will be looking over a team of 10 engineers, these are a mix of applications, design, software and test engineers.
What my client is mainly looking for is a strong leader, you will have a team of strong engineers but they need an experienced leader to drive them on. You will need to be coming from an engineering background of course but most of the technical bits will be handled by your team. Ideally you will be from an electronics or software background but someone mechanically minded would also be considered.
Ideally you will have some sort of automotive background but other sectors would be considered. Must have strong leadership skills, strong communication skills and good project management experience as you will be looking after a team working on numerous projects on different stages.
The company currently has around 54 employees but plans are to naturally grow this team in the coming year, my client is part of a huge global organisation of over 50,000 employees. This role will be challenging (in a good way) my client is looking to improve many aspects of the business to drive them into the future, this isn’t something that happens overnight but they are on their way and you can be a key part of this journey…… the on site general manager and operations manager are infectious (in a good way) in their personalities and would be brilliant to work for.
