Judged on what we deliver, we make sure our results speak for themselves, for candidates and clients alike. Unlike other recruitment consultants, we don’t have daily sales KPIs to distract us from the essential features of providing a quality personal touch and genuinely outstanding service.

Our specialist industry experience is part of our DNA and at the heart of everything we do. With this, The Collective Network team have been delivering excellence with a small but elite group of consultants putting professionalism, service and quality as first principles.

Tom Fitzjohn

Director & Co-founder

Tom has over four years’ experience building partnerships in the food/beverage and FMCG industries following a successful transition from the property sector. With this, he has developed a natural flair for understanding and providing both candidates and clients with an open, honest and consultative approach.

“I’ve always wanted to be the ‘go to’ person in the FMCG sector, providing more than just recruitment. My priority is cultivating long-lasting relationships and not about trying to fill a role and move on”.

Now specialising in mid to senior-level management positions across operations, engineering and technical disciplines, Tom strives to organically grow his network and add value to anyone using The Collective Network services.

Anne-Marie Smith

Senior Recruitment Consultant

With six years’ experience recruiting within the food and FMCG industry, Anne-Marie has built up a strong understanding of the industry, the processes involved as well as developing a passion for people.

Anne-Marie brought years of direct project management experience with her before starting her recruitment journey. She learned very quickly that her prior experience of developing trust and building strong relationships with clients would go far in the world of recruitment.

“I truly believe that recruitment is so much more than placing candidate A with client B. Recruitment is about creating solid partnerships with all those you work with to ensure the process is as smooth as possible. I mean, finding a job can be stressful enough, right?”

Anne-Marie understands the industry requirements and works closely with hiring managers and candidates to ensure the right skills, attitude and people are perfectly matched, especially in all engineering roles within the food and FMCG sector.

Graeme Marks

Senior Recruitment Consultant

Graeme joins The Collective Network as a senior recruitment consultant with over five years’ experience working as a technical consultant in the motorsport industry.

With a solid background in motorsport engineering recruitment, Graeme understands the sport’s fast-paced nature and need for building long-lasting client relationships.

“I’m a firm believer that excellent customer service is at the forefront of everything we do. Giving the same level of care and attention to everyone we work with is paramount to the results we deliver, both for the employer and the candidate.”

Graeme specialises in placing candidates in diverse engineering focused roles and is working closely with director and co-founder Jason to grow the motorsport and automotive division at The Collective Network.

Out of work, he enjoys playing football and is an avid fan of West Ham United (don’t judge him!). He also enjoys the social side of life, particularly spending time with friends, family, and nine-year-old son Freddie.
