Night shift may not tick everyone’s box but if you’ve been part of the night team before, you’ll know the perks of being able to actually get all your PPM’s done, and actually taking the reins and being imperative in keeping the production moving. This doesn’t just come with that responsibility, but you have more chance to finesse your skills further and are compensated very nicely for doing these shifts as well.
As an engineer, you’ll be showcasing your skills both mechanically and electrically addressing reactive and planned maintenance to keep machinery to the required standard.
Your main responsibilities of the role will include:
- Minimising machinery downtime
- Completion of reactive breakdowns and planned preventative maintenance
- Some of the machinery you will be working with, will be; conveyors, weighing machines, bagging machines etc.
- Optimising manufacturing functions and looking to improve efficiency's.
What you’d need:
- Experience in both mechanical and electrical engineering within your employment history
- Working within the food/manufacturing industry in the past
- Electrical skills and fault finding abilities
As part of the engineering team you'd be looking after the factory across the night shift. Good work life shift pattern with an attractive amount of time off to enjoy how you would want to.
