Senior Project Engineer

We are helping our client recruit for a Senior Project Engineer for their engineering team. Our client is a component manufacturer for machines that manufacture semiconductors for the technology industry. These machines are highly complex, and our client is responsible for working with the machine manufacturers for individual parts to keep these machines fully operational, from commissioning new machines through to retrofitting older machinery.
As the Senior Project Engineer within this team, you’ll be responsible for defining aspects of the bespoke pneumatic and mechanical components such as the bill of materials, component specifications and assembly drawings using Solidworks CAD software. With the fast-paced nature of their work, they do not have the time to conduct prototyping, therefore each component will have to be well documented on their analysis during the design process. As the Senior you’ll be responsible for liaising with different teams as well as speaking with clients to define technical specifications.
What you need
- Previous experience in mechanical design and be able to produce drawings in CAD (ideally with experience in Solidworks or AutoCAD).
- Be competent in carrying out DFMEA and liaising with different teams.
- Having previous experience with Pneumatic system designs would be advantageous.

- 37.5-hour week
- 4 days in office, 1 day from home arrangement
