Position Overview: We are looking for a Maintenance Manager who is not just experienced in the technical aspects of maintenance but is also passionate about fostering a positive and transformative culture within the team. The ideal candidate will be a proactive leader who can inspire, motivate, and lead by example. Responsibilities:

  1. Leadership and Culture Change:

    • Champion a culture of passion, accountability, and continuous improvement within the maintenance team.
    • Lead by example, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
    • Instill a sense of pride and ownership in team members, encouraging them to excel in their roles.
  2. Strategic Maintenance Planning:

    • Develop and implement maintenance strategies to optimise equipment reliability and minimise downtime.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align maintenance activities with overall business goals.
    • Drive initiatives to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of maintenance processes.
  3. Team Development:

    • Mentor and coach team members, providing guidance for professional and personal development.
    • Identify training needs and implement programs to upskill the maintenance team.
    • Encourage a learning culture that values innovation and embraces new technologies.
  4. Safety and Compliance:

    • Ensure adherence to safety protocols and compliance with regulatory standards.
    • Implement best practices to maintain a safe and healthy work environment.
    • Conduct regular safety audits and promote a safety-first mindset within the team.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Maintenance Manager in a FMCG/Food industry.
  • Strong leadership skills with a track record of successfully driving culture change.
  • Passion for creating a positive and collaborative work environment.
  • In-depth knowledge of maintenance strategies and best practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Degree in Engineering or equivalent work experience.
