Are you passionate about the science behind the perfect bite? Do you have a flair for turning raw ingredients into culinary masterpieces? If so, you will want to be a part of this dynamic team. Joining at a very busy time for the business, you’ll need to hit the ground running as they are full speed into what no doubt will be a very busy year.
As someone who is familiar with the ups & downs of working as a Specification Technologist, in the Food Manufacturing industry, what really makes it interesting? Well the business are heavily investing in the site at the moment and have recently taken on new customers.
You will need to understand things like labelling & artwork, as well as uploading specifications to a number of portals used by the top retailers.
Essentially, you’ll be responsible for managing, maintaining and submitting customer specifications for the site. Working closely with the other departments to reach a common goal & ensuring the legalities are met.
Ideally, you’ll have existing experience in this area working for a fast paced Food Manufacturing company.
Key experience:
- At least 1 years experience dealing with specifications
- Food labelling understanding
- Having worked in a Food/FMCG environment previously
- Proactive
- Technical administration experience
- Knowledge of retailers
- In-depth knowledge of food safety standards and regulations
- Attention to detail
- Strong communication skills
