Attention all Quality Inspectors! We have two exciting positions available… one of day shift and one on night shift, but both are 4 day working weeks! The huge variety of parts coming through the inspection department will mean no shift is the same, and it’s really going to challenge your GD&T knowledge!
The Company;
You will be working for a leading technology company specialising in providing innovative solutions and consultancy services to various industries, including those across the motorsport, automotive & electric vehicle, off-highway, aerospace, and defence sectors to name a few. They pride themselves on delivering high-quality full lifecycle engineering services to their high-end clients and the quality department plays a vital role in the success of this.
The Role;
As a CMM Inspector, you will be creating programs and also operating the CMM using specialist PC-DMIS software. You will be carrying out first off inspections, making sure the tightest of tolerances are met as well as final inspections. These parts often are safety critical… making sure your eye for detail is spot on at all times is SO important.
What we need from you;
- Extensive knowledge of CMM programming and operating
- Strong GD&T knowledge
- Inspected complex 5 axis machined parts before to tight tolerances – down to microns
