You'll be working for a company is a leader in their field. The quality of their products is second to none, which probably explains why their staff are too! They produce some of the highest end products throughout a number of industries, including; Motorsport, F1, Automotive, Marine and Aerospace. Good news is the business is extremely busy at the moment working on lots of various exciting projects and are recruiting across the company with this role another crucial hire.
As an experienced CNC machinist, you’ll be working on components for some of the UK’s most prestigious brands. Your level of care and detail will be second to none and you’ll strive to produce the components in the tightest of tolerances. You’ll be working on a 3 and 4 axis milling machines with Fanuc controls and manufacturing small volume high value components.
You'll have experience working in a fast-paced machine shop within the Automotive/Motorsport industry would be desirable. However, the main experience required is a solid working knowledge of the following:
CNC machining experience
Ability to set, operate and edit 3 and 4 axis milling machines using Fanuc controls
Adherence to tight tolerances and high standards
Read and interpret engineering drawings
Ability to self inspect your own parts using manual measuring equipment
This role is working on a double days shift pattern, 6am to 2pm and 2pm to 10pm. You get a shift premium on top of your basic rate and overtime is also available..
