As the Head of Compliance, you will have the unique opportunity to work closely with the sites well established Technical Director, while enjoying the autonomy to shape decisions and drive your own initiatives.
Your primary responsibility will be to establish and uphold stringent supplier standards, ensuring seamless alignment with our current technical strategy.
You will also be the central point of contact for external partners. With this in mind, your role will involve a certain level of travel, this could be both local and global, so get ready to pack your bags. As the primary contact for new suppliers, you will meticulously oversee the onboarding process. Furthermore, you will establish and maintain a robust risk assessment process for all new ingredients and supplier modifications.
This role entails overseeing compliance across the supply chain, guaranteeing the full implementation of company, customer, and legal requirements.
The company has fantastic systems in place already, so an overhaul is not needed on this front, but you will oversee supplier base management, conformance, and approval processes, encompassing both new and existing suppliers.
In addition, you will oversee the management of on-site raw materials and finished product specification teams.
In essence, as the Head of Compliance, you will play a pivotal role in safeguarding our company's reputation, ensuring the integrity of our supply chains, and driving continuous improvement across our technical functions.
