Our client is a reputable leader in the food manufacturing industry, who has heavily invested in their site over the past few years, making them one of the employers of choice in the local area.
With an excellent senior leadership team onsite, they have taken the business to the next level, due to their ongoing growth we are now looking to add an Operations Manager to their site team in Lincolnshire.
As the Operations Manager, you will need to be the glue that pulls everything together. You will need to oversee the Production operations whilst ensure standards and introducing new ways of working. You will be pivotal in driving some best practice activities, culture change and fostering team development ideas. Focusing on operational performance, cost savings and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage all aspects of production operations.
- Develop and implement strategies to optimise operational efficiency, productivity, and cost-effectiveness.
- Ensure compliance with health & safety standards in all operational activities.
- Manage and mentor a growing team of production staff, fostering a culture of teamwork & accountability.
- Developing & implementing KPI’s to track operational performance and identify areas for improvement.
- Implement best practices and lean manufacturing principles to streamline processes and enhance operational effectiveness.
Qualifications:
- Proven track record of operations management within the food manufacturing industry.
- Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, equipment, and machinery.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively lead and motivate teams.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and implement operational strategies to improve efficiency, quality, and safety.
